ATV driver in serious condition after semi truck hits rear end of vehicle
An ATV driver is in serous condition at a Missouri hospital after a crash involviing a semi truck.

BARTON COUNTY, Mo. — A crash involving a semi truck put the driver of John Deere ATV in the hospital in serious condition.

According to a report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol (MSHP), the driver of a 2015 Volvo semi truck, a 29-year-old male from Maineville, Ohio, crashed into the rear of 2021 John Deere 845M ATV.

MSHP says the crash occurred on Highway 160, four miles north of Golden City at approximately 9:50 a.m. on Tuesday.

The driver of the ATV, a 79-year-old man, was flown to a Springfield hospital and listed in serious condition.

MSHP did not disclose if the driver of the semi truck had been injured.
