Memphis trucker dies in Arkansas crash
A Memphis trucker has died after a one-vehicle crash in Arkansas.

LONOKE COUNTY, Ark. — A trucker is dead after a one-vehicle crash on Interstate 40 in Lonoke County.

According to an Arkansas State Police (ASP) fatal crash summary, Lazarus Itson, 36, of Memphis, was traveling eastbound on I-40 at approximately 1:15 a.m. on Wednesday when his 2025 Peterbilt veered off the roadway and struck a group of trees.

ASP’s report did not state what may be the cause of the crash, but did state that the weather conditions at the time of the accident were clear and road conditions at the time were dry.
