Planned I-285 closure in Georgia postponed
A construction project in the Georgia metro are is being postponed, according to the Georgia Department of Transportation.

ATLANTA, Ga. — A large construction project expected to cause major traffic headaches across the Atlanta, Ga. metro area has been postponed, according to the Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT).

According to GDOT, the project is being postponed due to weather.

The department has not said when the construction will be rescheduled to.

The shutdown was expected to impact I-285 northbound and southbound between SR 139/Martin Luther King Jr. Drive (Exit 9) and Cascade Road (Exit 7) in Fulton County.
