Arpin is partnering with A Wish Come True to match $50,000 in donations to support A Wish Come True families as the inaugural sponsor of the Meghan K. Duffy Hardship Fund.

“The rise in inflation, groceries and energy costs is having a significant impact on families that have a child with a life-threatening illness,” said Karen Bannon, director of marketing and ESG for Arpin and vice president of Arpin Strong. “Oftentimes, one parent must leave the workforce to care for their sick child, further burdening the family and forcing them to make tough choices around their finances. The expansion of the fund will help to alleviate some of that burden.”

The fund provides immediate relief to families in crisis, covering essential needs such as housing, utilities, transportation and groceries.

A Record-Breaking Gala Creates a Ripple Effect of Hope

Arpin’s donation was announced during the Ripples of Love Gala. Overall, more than $750,000 was raised, the most ever during the organization’s signature event. The theme of this year’s event reflects how one act of kindness can create lasting ripple effects—easing burdens, creating memories and offering strength during difficult times.

Meeting the Growing Financial Needs of Families

“We are deeply grateful to Arpin International for launching its inaugural $50,000 matching gift program at our gala,” said Mary-Kate O’Leary, A Wish Come True’s CEO. “This generous commitment inspired others to give and create a ripple effect of hope for children with life-threatening illnesses and their families. Arpin’s partnership helps A Wish Come True provide vital financial and emotional support to families in need through our Meghan K. Duffy Hardship Fund. This year, the need to assist with electric bills, rent and food for these resilient families has been greater than any other year.’

A Shared Commitment to Giving Back

Arpin’s Mission Statement provides a guiding vision for both the company and its employees: “To give back to the community, industry, and the world, more than we take out.”

To help advance this mission, Arpin employees established Arpin Strong, a 501(c)(3) charitable organization focused on supporting charitable initiatives in the communities where our customers and employees live and work. Since its founding, Arpin Strong has contributed more than $2.59 million to over 430 charities worldwide.
