WASHINGTON — The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMSCA) has removed eight ELD’s from its list of registered devices.

Motor carriers and drivers using certain Gorilla Fleet Safety devices have 60 days to replace them with compliant ELDs.

According to an FMCSA media release, on May 12, the following ELDs have been removed from the list of registered ELDs due to the providers’ failure to meet the minimum requirements:

  • ELD Name – Always Track. Model Number AT001. ELD Identifier ATN001.
  • ELD Name – Command Alkon Trackit. Model Number CATT01. ELD Identifier CAT001.
  • ELD Name – ELDX. Model Number XGEOAN. ELD Identifier ELDX03.
  • ELD Name – Gorilla Safety Compact ELD. Model Number GS0002. ELD Identifier GS0002.
  • ELD Name – HCSS ELD. Model Number HCSSGE1. ELD Identifier ELDH01.
  • ELD Name – LB Technologies Fleet Track HOS. Model Number LBTFTH. ELD Identifier FTHOS1.
  • ELD Name – Simplex ELD 2GO. Model Number SXIOSAN. ELD Identifier SIM001.
  • ELD Name – Trucker Path ELD Pro. Model Number Trucker Path ELD Pro. ELD Identifier TPPro2
