Idaho police are investigating a crash involving a FedEx truck and a semi.
Idaho State Police (ISP) issued a release stating that on Monday, at approximately 1:44 p.m., the Idaho State Police, Idaho Transportation Department, and Northern Lakes Fire responded to an injury crash on Highway 53 near milepost 12, near Rathdrum, Idaho.
According to the ISP release, a FedEx delivery truck driven by a 33-year-old male from Spokane, Washington, was traveling east on Highway 53 near milepost 12, and turned left in front of a Kenworth semi truck and trailer that was traveling west on Highway 53, by a 40-year-old male from Bonners Ferry, Idaho.
Police say as the FedEx truck made a left turn, it collided with the Kenworth. Both drivers were transported to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The crash is still under investigation by the Idaho State Police.
