ISP investigating after car hauler overturns on Idaho highway
Idaho State Police (ISP) is investigating a crash involving a semi truck.

BUTTE COUNTY, Idaho – Idaho State Police (ISP) is investigating a crash involving a semi truck car hauler. ISP says it responded to a single vehicle incident on Sunday at approximately 2:45 p.m. at milepost 6 on State Highway 33, near Butte City, Idaho.

According to a news release, a Western Star Auto Car hauling a single trailer, driven by a 48-year-old male from Twin Falls, Idaho, was traveling eastbound on State Highway 33 near milepost 6. The big rig lost control, causing it to tip onto its side.

The driver sustained minor injuries and was attended to on scene. ISP says he was wearing a seatbelt.

Eastbound lanes were blocked for approximately 8 hours as crews worked to remove debris in the roadway.

This incident remains under investigation by the Idaho State Police.
