CARROLL COUNTY, Ga. — A traffic stop on Interstate 20 in Carroll County, Georgia resulted in the seizure of illegal weed.
Georgia State Police (GSP) stated on Monday that its troopers conducted a traffic stop on a tractor-trailer on Interstate 20 in Carroll County for a traffic violation.
After speaking with the driver, the troopr requested assisted from K-9 unit.
GSP said K-9 Draco alerted troopers of an illegal substances. Further investigation revealed what GSP said was four suspicious pallets hidden amongst other cargo in the trailer.
GSP said its CIU and K-9 Draco found more than 1800 pounds of marijuana and over 4,000 illegal THC vape cartridges.
The investigation is ongoing.
