JEFFERSON COUNTY, Idaho – Idaho State Police (ISP) is investigating a three-vehicle crash that occurred on Wednesday morning.

ISP released an accident report that stated the crash occurred at approximately 7:32 p.m. on Interstate 15 at milepost 130, just south of Roberts.

Police say a 34-year-old male from Payette, Idaho, was driving a 2001 Kenworth northbound on I-15 when he struck the rear of a trailer being towed by a 1994 Chevrolet pickup truck driven by a 22-year-old male from Hamer, Idaho, also traveling northbound. The collision caused the trailer to disconnect from the pickup and roll. A 53-year-old female from Roberts, Idaho, was driving a 2016 Nissan northbound and subsequently struck the trailer.

One driver was transported to a local hospital by ground ambulance.
