ATLANTA, Ga.  — Michelin Connected Fleet is announcing the expansion of its Trailer Premium offer, building on its collaboration with Penn Tank Lines.

“This advanced solution is designed to give Class 7 and 8 fleet operators a competitive edge by transforming trailer maintenance from reactive to proactive,” Michelin said. “By leveraging real-time pressure and temperature monitoring, the Trailer Premium offer detects metrics that impact the longevity of the tire and alert fleet managers to situations requiring tire inspection and/or preventative maintenance.

The Michelin Connected Fleet Trailer Premium solution combines three decades of tire expertise with advanced telematics to deliver real-time visibility that helps Penn Tank Lines reduce costs and drive operational excellence. This directly supports Penn Tank’s mission to be the leader in reinventing high quality delivery providing accurate and actionable data insights, increasing proactive maintenance  and driving efficiency across the fleet.
