Idaho police looking into head-on fatality involving semi truck
he Idaho State Police (ISP) is investigating a two-vehicle head-on collision that resulted in a death.

CALDWELL, Idaho – The Idaho State Police (ISP) is investigating a two-vehicle head-on collision that resulted in a death.

ISP states that the crash occurred at approximately 2:33 a.m. on Monday in Canyon County, Idaho near Simplot Boulevard and Farmway Road.

According to reports, a 2001 Kenworth commercial vehicle was headed westbound on Simplot Boulevard when a 2010 Ford Fusion headed eastbound crossed the center line and went head-on with the Kenworth.

A 57-year-old male from American Falls, who reportedly was properly restrained, drove the Kenworth and was not injured.

The Ford was driven by a middle-aged male from Homedale who succumbed to his injuries on scene.

The incident remains under investigation by the Idaho State Police.
