One person died after a head-on collision with a semi in Arkansas.

VILONIA, Ark.— One person is dead after a crash with a semi truck in Arkansas.

According to an Arkansas State Police (ASP) fatal crash summary, one person died on Arkansas Highway 64 after hitting a Volvo semi truck head-on.

The driver, identified as Johnny Garrison, 22, of Beebe, Ark., was traveling westbound on Highway 64 near Vilonia when he veered into the eastbound lane and struck the Volvo.

The crash occurred last Tuesday at approximately 6:09 p.m. local time.

The weather was dry, and the road was clear, according to the ASP report.
