NORTH LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — There are few details of the nature of a semi truck fire that occurred at a truck stop in North Little Rock, Ark., just off Interstate 40.
According to a social media post by the North Little Rock Fire Department (NLRFD), crews responded to a reported 18-wheeler fire at approximately 11:33 a.m., on Wednesday at the Petro Truck Stop, located at 3205 Highway 391.
According to information released by the NLRFD, fire crews arrived to find the tractor-trailer heavily involved in fire and “immediately initiated an aggressive fire attack.”
“Firefighters quickly brought the blaze under control and prevented further extension of the fire,” the release stated..
The trailer was empty at the time of the incident, and no injuries were reported.
There are no details as to what may have caused the blaze.
