Woman dead, juvenile seriously injured in Missouri crash involving big rig
One person has died, and one was seriously hurt after an accident involving an 18-wheeler in Missouri.

GREENE COUNTY, Mo. — One person has died, and one was seriously hurt after an accident involving an 18-wheeler in Missouri.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol (MSHP) reported that the crash occurred Friday around noon on U.S. Highway 60 about four miles east of Springfield.

The MSHP crash summary stated that a 2018 Ford Edge driven by a 77-year-old female from Nixa, Mo. crossed into the path of a 1998 Kenworth W900 which struck the driver’s side of the Ford Edge.

The crash also seriously injured a 12-year-old female who was transported to a local hospital. There was no update on her condition, nor was there a report on the semi driver’s condition.
