NEEDHAM, Mass. — Lily Transportation is receiving the Excellence in Community Advocacy Award by the Veterans Administration’s (VA) Boston Healthcare System for its work with homeless veterans.

“Lily is committed to helping end and prevent homelessness among veterans,” said Mike Stanton, COO, Lily. “And we are grateful to The Salvation Army for connecting us with the VA’s mission and their continued support of our partnership with them.”

The award was presented the 9th Annual Health Care for Homeless Veterans (HCHV) Awards Ceremony held recently at the VA’s Boston Brockton Healthcare Campus.

The award recognized the company’s support of the VA over the years with both financial donations and hands-on involvement, including its commitment to the Annual Turkey Drop that provides meals for veterans’ families on Thanksgiving Day.

Thanks company for helping them it happened to me but my cell saved me and it’s tragic our government doesn’t implement rules to prevent such a atrocity it’s worse than onecthinks because it’s being also doused in the VA system wich iscto help veterans not hurt them they have a rule that says if you don’t or can’t attend apartments they can stop all benefits now mindcyou that info came from a homeless veteran program within the c a I say if the can’t make it it’s for a reason one no vehicle two no money VA benefits barely cover home bills let alone major malfunctions with vehicles or let alone travel money so give us a break beurocracy dictators we pore we can’t hardly afford to think or take our families on vacation I don’t get VA disability as rank pay and that isn’t much either and if I did it would hardly pay the bills also so either way we keep getting screwed over by one or more parts of our own governmental offices ,sorry but it’s true if your a veteran in need of my help look me up I am more than willing to help even at home since I can no longer work due to my military injuries I’m not at 100 percent disability but here where I live I won’t let you starve or be stuck out in shifty weather either so thanks again for helping those veterans and shame on you government and people for making us homeless to justify for your job sincerely lone ranger , wonder mutt or your major Payne in the butt
