Over 400 Volvo and Mack trucks recalled for safety issues
400+ trucks impacted by Volvo and Mack recalls.

WASHINGTON — The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) is reporting recalls impacting over 400 Volvo and Mack trucks.

Volvo Recall

Volvo Trucks North America is recalling certain 2025-2027 VNL and 2026-2027 VNR vehicles. The vehicle turn signals may not function properly. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 108, “Lamps, Reflective Devices, and Associated Equipment.”

The recall impacts 336 trucks.

Remedy

Dealers will update the turn signal indicator software, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed May 31. Owners may contact Volvo Trucks’ customer service at 800-528-6586. Volvo Trucks’ number for this recall is RVXX2604. Vehicle Identification Numbers involved in this recall are searchable on NHTSA.gov.

Mack Recall

Mack Trucks is recalling certain 2025-2027 Pioneer and 2027 Anthem trailers. The trailer turn signals may not function properly. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 108, “Lamps, Reflective Devices, and Associated Equipment.”

The recall impacts 86 trucks.

Remedy

Dealers will update the turn signal indicator software, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed May 31, 2026. Owners may contact Mack’s customer service at 1-800-866-1177. Mack’s number for this recall is SC0493. Vehicle Identification Numbers  involved in this recall are searchable on NHTSA.gov.
