TALLAHASSEE, Fla. — FleetForce and ParkPro are naming Alix Miller, senior principal at TSG Advisors and former president of Florida Trucking Association (FTA), as a senior advisor to both companies.
“Alix spent years at the helm of Florida Trucking Association, shaping the very policies and infrastructure that companies like FleetForce and ParkPro operate within,” said Tra Williams, CEO, president of FleetForce and ParkPro. “Bringing her into our corner — along with TSG’s strategic depth — is an extraordinary advantage as we scale. The drivers and businesses powering this industry deserve solutions built by people who truly understand their world, and that’s what this partnership delivers.”
Miller will help guide national expansion efforts for FleetForce while working to establish ParkPro’s hourly truck parking technology as the industry standard.
The Truck Parking Crisis
According to a joint press release, rhe U.S. trucking industry faces a deepening talent pipeline deficit — driven by a demographic cliff of retiring drivers and resistance to newly trained drivers among companies—and a truck parking crisis that leaves one spot for every 11 drivers on the road, a growing threat to public safety.
“Effective policy doesn’t happen in a vacuum. It requires private sector partners who understand what’s at stake and are willing to build toward a shared standard,” Miller said. “FleetForce and ParkPro are operating at that level of intention by creating solutions that address systemic gaps the transportation and logistics industry has needed to close for years. My plan is to help ensure that work reaches the people it was built for, and that it does so at a national level.”
Alix Miller
Miller brings more than 20 years of leadership across transportation, public affairs and strategic communications to her new role as Senior Principal of TSG Transportation Advisors. As president and CEO of FTA, she secured sweeping lawsuit-abuse reforms, expanded the association’s political influence and helped position Florida as the national leader in prioritizing available truck-parking capacity. She is a recipient of the American Trucking Associations’ President’s Leadership Award and has been named to Florida Trend’s Florida 500 list of the state’s most influential leaders. She holds a doctorate from Florida State University and a certificate in global supply chain management from the Wharton School.
“I’ve had a front-row seat to what Tra and this team have been building since FleetForce and FTA launched a corporate partnership in 2021,” said Miller. “This advisory role is a formalization of a partnership years in the making, and one I believe in deeply.”
FleetForce and ParkPro are both actively expanding nationwide, providing industry-critical scaling solutions. FleetForce operates 14 locations nationwide and continues to expand to meet the growing demand for qualified commercial truck drivers. ParkPro is set to launch this summer on Platform Science, Android, and iOS devices, becoming the nation’s first guaranteed, hourly truck parking technology solution available to drivers and carriers in hundreds of cities across the United States.
