MISSISSAUGA and CAMBRIDGE, Ontario — The Kriska Transportation Group (KTG) is acquiring Sharp Transportation Systems Inc. of Cambridge, Ontario.

They will benefit from operational synergies with our other operations in the region. Sharp comes with new customers we hope to grow with, and familiar shippers with whom we’ve had long-standing partnerships.”
Sharp Transportation
Sharp Transportation specializes in temperature-controlled freight with an emphasis on medical supplies and furniture. They offer cross-border and domestic Canadian truckload and partial-load services, with a focus on the Midwest and Northeast regions.
The leadership team will continue to focus on operational excellence, growth, and strong customer relationships. Devon Turnbull will remain operations manager, while Cassandra Long will continue supporting operations and customer service.
“Being part of KTG will give us the support to continue offering our customers the personal service they expect across Canada and the USA,” Long said. “Their scale resources will improve and expand our services from port to delivery.”

According to KTG, the acquisition shows KTG’s commitment to building strong partnerships and expanding its specialized freight capabilities.
