ADA COUNTY, Idaho – Local authorities including the Idaho State Police (ISP) are currently investigating a single commercial vehicle property damage crash that occurred Friday morning at approximately 1:19 A.M. on westbound Interstate 84 at the Blacks Creek/Kuna-Mora Rd overpass, in Ada County, Idaho.
Authorities say a blue 2019 Freightliner Cascadia with 53-foot trailer, driven by a 57-year-old male from Ontario, California, was westbound on Interstate 84 near Blacks Creek Rd/Kuna-Mora Rd, when the driver failed to maintain his lane of travel. The driver drove off the roadway into the median, down the embankment, crashing on Blacks Creek Rd/Kuna-Mora Rd Underneath I-84.
The driver was wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash and was uninjured. All lanes of I-84 are open. Blacks Creeks Rd/Kuna-Mora Rd at I-84 remains closed at this time while crews work to recover the vehicle.
