A big rig driver is nursing what the Missouri State Highway Patrol (MSHP) said in a release was "moderate" injuries after a crash in Missouri.

PULASKI COUNTY, Mo. — A big rig driver is nursing what the Missouri State Highway Patrol (MSHP) said in a release was “moderate” injuries after a crash in Missouri.

MSHP stated in a crash summary that the incident occurred on Highway 17, just a mile south of Highway DD at approximately 5:30 a.m. on Thursday morning.

The 63-year-old driver, who was from Newburg, Mo., was traveling north in a 2024 Kenworth and veered off the left side of the roadway and struck an embankment.

There is no update on the cause of the crash or the condition of the semi truck driver.
