WHITESTOWN, Ind. — Authorities in Indiana had a busy morning on Interstate 65.

A vehicle collision involving two semi trucks near mile marker 131 on I-65 northbound had two lanes of travel shut down, and a fuel spill to deal with at approximately 5 a.m. local time.

Whitestown Police Department (WPD) officers worked a crash involving two semi trucks that caused a fuel spill, according to a Facebook post from the Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT).

The Boone County Sheriff also issued a traffic alert about the crash and spillage.

There were no updates on the conditions of any of the drivers of the big rigs involved in Thursday morning’s crash.

The reopening of the interstate was announced around 8:45 a.m. local time.
