OMAHA, Neb. — Sapp Bros. is celebrating 55 years of serving truck drivers and travelers with an anniversary celebration packed with exclusive deals, bonus rewards and giveaways at all 18 Sapp Bros. Travel Centers.

“For 55 years, Sapp Bros. has been blessed to welcome professional drivers and everyday travelers as our guests,” said Andy Richard, CEO. “This anniversary is not just about celebrating our growth; it is about saying thank you to our guests and to the team members who live out our mission to bless and serve others every day. We look forward to the next 55 years of making our guests feel welcomed, safe, valued and appreciated.”

June Promotions and Giveaways

Beginning in June, guests can take advantage of anniversary-themed promotions in Travel Centers, restaurants and Service Centers. Guest Rewards members using the Sapp App will have opportunities to earn bonus points, redeem exclusive coupons and enter to win prizes from free pizza for a year to the grand prize: a $10,000 dream vacation giveaway.

Throughout the month of June, guests are also invited to join Sapp Bros. in its mission to bless and serve through celebration cookout events at each travel center. During the events, our team members will be collecting free-will donations to the American Cancer Society.

55 Years—Building a Legacy

Founded on June 7, 1971 by brothers Bill, Dean, Ray and Lee Sapp, Sapp Bros. has grown from a single Omaha, Neb. truck stop into a trusted network of travel centers, petroleum operations and trucking services across the Midwest — all while staying committed to its mission of blessing and serving others.

Sapp Bros. Travel Centers Named One of the Nation’s Best Gas Station Brands

Sapp Bros. Travel Centers is also being recognized as one of the Best Gas Station Brands in the country by the USA Today 10Best Readers’ Choice Awards, earning the No. 9 spot nationwide.

“As we celebrate 55 years on the road, this recognition from USA Today 10Best is a humbling reminder of why we exist: to bless and serve every person who walks through our doors,” Richard said. “We are deeply grateful to our loyal customers and guests whose votes put us on this list, and to our teammates who live out our mission to bless and serve.”

A Small but Mighty Network

The honor follows a nomination by a panel of USA Today travel experts and a nationwide public vote by customers and travelers across the country.

“This achievement is a testament to the service delivered across a small but mighty network of just 18 travel centers,” the company said. “Despite having far fewer locations than our counterparts on this prestigious list, our boutique collection of travel centers has built a strong reputation for our friendly service, mom-approved restrooms and quality food options.”

The USA Today 10Best Readers’ Choice Awards highlight top destinations, attractions and brands across a variety of categories, with winners determined by public vote.

“Sapp Bros. extends its sincere thanks to all guests, team members and supporters who helped make this recognition possible,” the company said.
