Driver, minor passenger injured in single-vehicle truck crash in Missouri
A truck driver and a juvenile suffered minor injuries in an 18-wheeler crash in Missouri on Monday.

CLARK COUNTY, Mo. — A truck driver and a juvenile suffered minor injuries in an 18-wheeler crash in Missouri on Monday.

According to a crash summary from the Missouri State Highway Patrol (MSHP), at approximately 10:10 a.m. on Monday, a 2012 Volvo big rig was traveling too fast on Highway 136 at State Highway 27 in Wayland, Missouri.

MSHP stated that the 40-year-old driver from Kahoka, Missouri was attempting to make a right turn. Due to the shift in the weight of his cargo and speed, the truck overturned.

The unidentified driver and his 7-year-old passenger suffered minor injuries.

The crash remains under MSHP investigation.
