Gemini Motor Transport earns safety award from National Tank Truck Carriers

OKLAHOMA CITY — Gemini Motor Transport has received the Grand Champion Award in National Tank Truck Carriers’ (NTTC) 2019 Safety Contest. This is the fifth year Gemini, the primary fuel hauler for Love’s Travel Stops, has earned the award.

“I’m extremely proud of our drivers who work every day to make safety a priority,” said Brent Bergevin, vice president of transportation for Love’s. “To be recognized among our peers at this level is a big honor and further cements Gemini as a company that takes care of its drivers.”

The NTTC is a trade association made up of more than 550 companies specializing in cargo-tank transportation services throughout North America. The NTTC’s North American Safety Awards recognize the best tank truck safety programs. Gemini won the in the “more than 90 million miles” class with an accident frequency of 0.338 accidents per one million miles.
