MARION, Ark. — Police in Arkansas are searching for a bank robbery suspect who fled the scene in a big rig.

KY3 reports a man robbed Regions Bank on Block Street in Marion, Arkansas, on Tuesday afternoon, June 21.

Video from inside the bank shows the suspect demanding money from a teller, putting it in a duffle bag and leaving on foot.

“Officers made the scene and made contact with employees and reviewed video footage of the suspect,” the Marion Police Department said in a Facebook post. “[The suspect is] a Black male wearing a black hoodie, black pants, a gray face mask, white gloves and brown work boots.”

KARK reports that witnesses saw the robber run toward the area of Walnut Street and Manor Street. Investigators say surveillance cameras showed the suspect getting into a blue bobtail tractor on Manor Street.

The vehicle was last seen traveling north on the East Interstate-55 service road.

Anyone with information about the suspect, is asked to call the Marion Police Department-Criminal Investigation Division at 870-739-2101 or Crittenden County Crime Stoppers at 870-732-4444.
