Multiple crashes involving semi trucks injures 2 drivers in Arkansas
Multiple crashes involving semi trucks occurred in Arkansas in the early morning hours on Friday morning.

SALINE COUNTY, Ark.- Multiple crashes involving semi trucks occurred in Arkansas in the early morning hours on Friday morning.

Arkansas State Police (ASP) report that two people were seriously injured.

ASP said the first crash happened around 1:30 Friday morning when a semitrailer traveling westbound on the interstate overturned.

Police say a second 18-wheeler then hit the overturned semi trailer.

According to reports, the driver of the overturned tractor-trailer was flown to a Little Rock hospital with serious injuries.

Two other commercial vehicles crashed near the location of the first crash, according to ASP.

The Saline County Sheriff’s office reportedly responded to the second crash, according to the Arkansas State Police.

At 2:15 Friday morning, state police say a tractor-trailer hit a pickup, which caused the pickup to hit another semi.

Officials say an 18-wheeler then hit the another semi and overturned, injuring the driver of the overturned semitrailer.

ASP stated that more information may be coming.
