An inspection at a Tennessee weigh station put a trucker out of service.

According to post on Facebook by the Tennessee Highway Patrol (THP), a trooper at the Haywood Westbound Scales recently conducted a Commercial Motor Vehicle inspection where the trooper found a broken air ride suspension control box. The trooper also found deflated air bags on the trailer.

“Due to these safety violations, the vehicle was placed out of service until the necessary repairs are completed,” the THP post stated. “Safety remains our top priority as we work to keep our roadways safe for everyone.”
