Hey truckers, I’m Tucker. A security camera captured footage of a truck leaving a trail of flames on a Texas highway, and customers at TA and Petro locations can now easily help fellow drivers through the St. Christopher’s Truckers Relief Fund. Plus, the pushups have been counted and we have the winners of the fit to pass Fittest Driver Push-up contest. Is your name on the list? That’s just a quick look at the stories we’re covering on this edition of The Trucker News Channel.

Tucker Russ:
A big rig carrying a load of sand erupted in flames, as it crashed on a sugar land Texas highway earlier this week. Police say a Chevrolet Camaro struck the big rig causing it to flip over and catch fire as it careened down the highway. Security cameras at a nearby Mercedes-Benz dealership caught the crash on video, which shows the truck striking construction barrels before coming to a stop. Fortunately, the driver of the big rig wasn’t hurt and the driver of the Camaro only suffered minor injuries. The accident is under investigation.

Tucker Russ:
Driver’s stopping at most TA Petro and TA Express locations can now easily make a donation to one of the trucking industries most well-known non-profits. Travel Centers of America Incorporated has launched its first point of sale fundraising campaign. Customers will have the option to round up their order to the nearest dollar with a hundred percent of the donated amount going to help fellow drivers through the St. Christopher Truckers Relief Fund. St. Christopher, a non-faith based organization, works to help professional drivers who may be out of work because of illness or injury. The campaign will run until November 30th.

Cat Scale:
Time is money and CAT scale can help your drivers save time weighing. Drivers know their axle and gross weights before pulling off the scale, and cat scale weights are always guaranteed. Drivers get back on the road faster, with the Weighmytruck app from CAT scale.

Tucker Russ:
