will they last longer than the previous awful paccar engines?
All my old Peterbuilt trucks keep the new trucks running
Our company bought 8 new Peterbilt trucks this past year!! They all have issues and we’re broke down on the roads!! I will take a hino truck any day over peterbilt
I am constantly being asked by people why I am Still running a Fleet of 38 1986 Peterbilt 359’s. I reply. NO COMUTERS to cause any Breakdowns.
my truck is in the shop more than on the road these new trucks and transmissions are complete garbage
here’s a solution to everyone that face these breakdowns. STOP BUYING THEM. SERIOUSLY YOU DOING IT TO YOURSELVES AT THIS POINT. IT’S CLEAR PACCAR CAR ABOUT THEIR BOTTOM DOLLAR THEN QUALITY. SO BE MORE EFFICIENT WITH YOU MONEY
They need to paint them blue like Detroit so when you use them as a boat anchor no one will see them on the bottom. my 1994 3406B still runs strong with over 2 million on the block 30k on the rebuilt and it set to 645 hp 1325 torque pulls Utah Mountains with 17 ton 10hrs a day. “DO IT IN THE DIRT”!!
I personally like my 24 579…. other than all the false idiot lights coming on… with not even showing up in any active warnings…. so, I just totally ignore them… lol
keep on accommodating this automatic society more & more & you guys are killing our industry by poisoning it with these automatic transmissions because with automatic transmissions comes with automatic steering wheel holders…!! You are making our roads soo sooo soooo unsafe it’s not funny…!! because now with automatic transmissions any lame, retarded, & as far as I’m concerned no brain motor skilled people are now driving these big trucks up & down our highways & I feel it’s very unsafe because if you can’t drive one of these big rigs & shift your own gears in my opinion you have absolutely NO BUISINESS DRIVING A TRUCK…!! Because if your brain doesn’t work well enough too drive a truck & shift gears it also doesn’t work well enough too be able too make the tougher decisions like when they need too safely apply the brakes so they can stop that truck & trailer in time not too be involved ina bad accident & kill a bunch of people…!! It really disturbs me that nobody had brought this subject up too anyone that I have seen. This industry requires a individual too be a SKILLED PROFESSIONAL, now you guys have taken out the need for any new aged truck drivers too possess any kind of skill & with that it also Removes the PROFESSIONAL ASPECT of our drivers out here on the road today & in my opinion it’s very dangerous & more people are dying everyday because of these unprofessional skillless drivers out here on the roads today…!! I’ve been a driver for 35yrs & im not just a driver I am a bullhauler so 90% of the truck drivers are not even on my level….!! just saying
Buddy you are right on. I couldn’t have articulated it any better. Not bad for an old bull hauler. From an old log hauler.
