Teen injured in crash with big rig in Missouri
A Missouri teen suffered moderate injuries in a crash that also involved a semi truck on Wednesday afternoon.

GASCONADE COUNTY, MO. — A Missouri teen suffered moderate injuries in a crash that also involved a semi truck on Wednesday afternoon.

According to a crash summary from the Missouri State Highway Patrol (MSHP), a 19-year-old male from Rosebud, Mo., was driving a 2006 Chrysler PT Cruiser, was attemping to make a left turn on to U.S. Highway 50 from Route T.

The PT Cruiser pulled into the path of a 1997 Kenworth W9 big rig that was driven by a 50-year-old man from Randolph, Alabama.

The front of the semi truck struck the side of the PT Cruiser, according to the report.

The teen driver of the PT Cruiser was taken by ambulance to a local hospital.

The truck driver was reportedly uninjured.
