Truck driver uninjured after train smashes into rig

MIDLAND, Texas — A truck driver escaped injury Tuesday after a train struck their flatbed rig.

According to Midland police, the wreck happened near the intersection of Industrial Avenue and Warehouse Road.

Police said the tractor-trailer got stuck on the tracks just before the driver bailed out to safety, away from the oncoming train.
