U.S. NAFTA freight totaled $99.8 billion in June as trucking along with the four other transportation modes carried more freight by value with partners Canada and Mexico compared with last year, the federal government reported today.

ARLINGTON, Va. — The American Trucking Associations’ advanced seasonally adjusted (SA) For-Hire Truck Tonnage Index increased 0.1 percent in July, following a 4.4 percent drop during June. In July, the index equaled 138.5 (2000=100), up from 138.4 in June.
